Google Listing FAQ
Your Google business profile is often the first thing a customer sees, so it needs to be right. Here are answers to common questions about how Grid Pulse Media handles your Google listing as part of your ongoing marketing.
Frequently asked questions
Do you manage my Google listing?
Yes. Your Google business profile is one of the places we keep updated as part of your 90-day plan. When you tell us something has changed, like new hours or a closure, we update it on your Google profile along with your website and social accounts, so everything matches.
Will my hours be correct everywhere, not just on Google?
That is the goal. We take what you tell us once, like a closure or a schedule change, and put it out everywhere at once: your Google profile, your website, and your social accounts. We also keep your details matching on listings like Apple Maps, Bing Places, Foursquare and Yellow Pages, so customers never show up to a locked door.
Do you reply to reviews on my Google profile?
Yes, replying to reviews is part of keeping your profile active. We write replies in your own voice, based on what you have told us about your business. We never quote or name a reviewer in a reply, and we never invent a testimonial or a review.
What if my Google listing already has mismatched information?
That is common, and it is one of the problems we fix first. During your setup call, we review your current Google profile against your website and other listings, then correct any mismatches so your hours, address and details are the same everywhere a customer might look.
Do I need to give you access to my Google account?
You will need to connect or share access to your Google business profile so we can post updates and reply to activity on your behalf. We walk through exactly what is needed during setup, so there is nothing to figure out on your own.
Will you post updates to Google without checking with me first?
Every post and update starts from what you have told us, whether that is during your setup call or an update you send later. We do not add hours, specials or closures that you have not reported. If something changes, just tell us and it goes out accurately.
How often is my Google profile updated?
Your Google profile is part of your ongoing 90-day plan, so it gets attention on a regular schedule along with your other channels, not just when something changes. We also check periodically that it still matches your website and social accounts.
What does this cost?
Pricing depends on what your business needs, and specific plan pricing is listed on our pricing page. The best way to get exact numbers for your situation is to start the setup process, where we learn about your business first.
